Where you can marry

All three are licensed for civil ceremonies. Church weddings are at St Michael’s in the village, four minutes’ walk from the gate.

Chairs go on the lawn between the fruit walls. The decision to move inside is made at 10am on the day.

The day

How the timings usually run

Everything between the ceremony and the evening is yours to arrange. These are the fixed points.

  • All twelve bedrooms on the wedding night

Small weddings

Monday to Thursday, up to 40 guests.

Catering
Through one of two caterers who know the house. Usually £95 to £140 a head, including wine.
Deposit
25% holds the date. The balance is due twelve weeks before.
