The Work

Three concept sites, each live.

None of these businesses are real. Open any of them to explore the site.

000°Wedding and events venue · 6 pages

Venue websites usually hold prices back for an enquiry, so the events team spends its week answering the same questions. The opportunity was to publish a price for every date, and have the enquiry form work it out as soon as someone picks a day.

The challenge was letting the house sell itself. Venues are booked on atmosphere, so the layout stays quiet and symmetrical and the photographs do most of the work.

120°Residential architects · 7 pages

Most architects’ sites are galleries of finished rooms, which says little about how a practice solves problems. Each case study here starts with what stood in the way, then shows what was built in response.

The hardest part was the before and after slider. The two photographs were taken months apart from slightly different positions, so they had to be lined up by hand before the comparison made sense.

240°Commercial law firm · 5 pages

People looking for a commercial solicitor often don’t know which kind they need, and many have a deadline. The homepage asks two questions and points them to the right partner, or tells them to phone today if time is short.

The challenge was restraint. A law firm earns trust by being clear, so there is almost no photography and every page reads like a well-set document.
