Who we are

Ashvane Studios is a trading name of William Harte, Broadford House, Shalford, Guildford GU4 8EP. William Harte is responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

If you contact us

The contact form collects your name, your business name, your email address and your message. If you email us instead, we receive the same kind of information. We use it only to reply to your enquiry.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. If you ask us for a quote, it is also taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who handles it

Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.

Netlify and Google may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months. If you become a client, we keep them for as long as we need records of the work.

When you visit this site

We use Netlify Analytics to count visits. It reads the server logs of our hosting provider, Netlify, and sets no cookies on your device. Netlify processes visitors’ IP addresses as part of providing hosting and these statistics.

Everything on this site, including its typefaces, is served from our own hosting. Pages load nothing from other companies.

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

If we contact your business

We sometimes email businesses whose websites we think we could improve. We find work email addresses on the business’s own website or on public registers. We use them because we think our work may be relevant to you.

You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to the email, or by writing to hello@ashvanestudios.co.uk.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it, if you object to how we use it
